To celebrate a milestone birthday, popular media personality Mary Lambie decided to tackle the Tour of Aotearoa, which highlights the best of New Zealand's Great Rides, Heartland Rides and quiet backcountry roads.

Described as a hard core of four, all but one rider about to embark on the Tour of Aotearoa was 59, and about to turn the big 6 0. That inner voice telling them all to “get on your bike” had been a loud one, and the proof was to be in the pedalling.
