I rode the Paparoa from Blackball to Punakaiki. A steep ride from Blackball to the beginning of the track. 2.5 hour medium climb to the first hut Ces Clarke. Stayed the night, and headed off at first light into steady rain and wind. Apart from a puncture the second day was a roller coaster back to Punakaiki.
