We had a lovely dry ride from Kaikohe to Opua then the next day from Kaikohe to Horeke, started off beautiful then we got a Far North downpour. Absolutely drenched. Beautiful farmland and wonderful ride!! In Horeke we stood under the pub's spouting to get the mud off us and then dried ourselves and got changed – hilarious!! Loved Okaihau the old railway carriages – one is named Bruce, our friend's name!!! I can thoroughly recommend this ride.
