Adventure Te Aroha

Take a break from your bike an enjoy a gentle paddle on the river. This guided tour gives you a fascinating tour of Te Aroha, Wairongomai, then the river, where you can enjoy the birdlife and great Kaimai views.

Banana Pepper Café - Waihi

Located in the centre of the Waihi, this is the ideal café for those on the trail looking for good food and refreshments to refuel and be back on your bike again. A good range of food and refreshments.

For bike & accessory sales, bike servicing. Customer satisfaction guaranteed. Carries a range of 1st class replacement parts but can also do repairs to get you back on the trail asap - Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Bullswool Heritage Farm - Karangahake

Visit while riding the Trail. A must do especially if you have children in tow. Although not accessible from the trail, a 10min drive from Paeroa takes you to animals, heritage, peace and tranquillity. Pack a picnic and go.

Burton’s on Pollen Cafe - Thames

Located in the heart of Thames, a café welcoming cyclists for great food, coffee and drinks. There’s a wide range of savoury and sweet treats to choose from and just a short 2 minute bike ride from the trail.

Café 77 - Manawaru

Café 77 is located right on the Trail half-way between TeAroha and Matamata welcoming cyclists with great food, coffee & drinks with indoor/outdoor seating. Free Wifi, air compressors & bike tool kits are available for the quick fix-its.

Goldfields Railway – Waihi

Hauraki Bike Hire Ltd - Paeroa

Just off the trail, we hire mountain bikes, e-bikes, step through and kids bikes. Bike hire includes helmet, bike lock and trail map. We can also arrange a shuttle bus for getting you back to the depot.
