Otago Central Rail Trail

Roxburgh Gorge Trail

Truly unique and seriously spectacular, this deservedly popular day ride features out-of-this-world scenery and fascinating gold mining history alongside the mighty Clutha Mata-au River. Suitable for riders of moderate fitness with some off-road cycling experience, the Roxburgh Gorge Trail is an easy (grade 2) to intermediate (grade 3) Great Ride.

Clutha Gold Trail

The Clutha Gold is a 73km cycle trail tracing a pretty route beside the Clutha Mata-au river from Lawrence to Lake Roxburgh. It's an easy, two-day journey of discovery with inspiring scenery, historic sites and genuine southern hospitality.
