Can you help make Hawke’s Bay’s cycling network the best in New Zealand?

Are you a great all-round coordinator? – show the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council what you’ve done so far! Give your attitude, energy and passion to the relationships that make the wheels spin!

Hawke’s Bay Regional Council are looking for someone to work with councils, agencies and national contacts.

You’ll pitch for funding and development opportunities, while coordinating an integrated cycling experience that exceeds the expectations of residents and visitors.

This is a full-time, fixed-term two-year contract role.

They are looking for someone to bring their Regional Cycling Plan to life, in the areas of liveability, health and tourism. Part of your focus will be to champion relationships, identify network gaps and opportunities, and pursue fund-raising opportunities.

You’ll be the key point of contact for service providers and the operators who support the regional cycling network of iWay and off-road trails in Napier and Hastings, with support to Central Hawke’s Bay and Wairoa.
