Hauraki Rail Trail Management Opportunity
The Hauraki Rail Trail Charitable Trust is seeking an efficient, self-motivated person to manage the day to day operations of the Trust and develop and implement the strategic vision and plan for the Hauraki Rail Trail.
This is a challenging but exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to facilitating the use and enjoyment of the Hauraki Rail Trail.
As General Manager your key responsibilities will include:
Developing strategic plans and objectives for the Hauraki Rail Trail
Developing and implementing strategies to enhance economic activity associated with the Hauraki Rail Trail
Developing successful relationships with key stakeholders
Growing revenue through grants, sponsorship and fundraising
Financial management including preparation of budgets, expenditure monitoring and reporting
This is a busy yet rewarding role and will suit someone who is renowned for their ability to multi-task and to develop relationships with a wide range of people. To be successful you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven financial management and marketing experience. You will also need to have strong report writing skills, a full drivers licence and your own reliable vehicle.
Our ideal applicant will have prior experience in a tourism, recreation or marketing related role, experience successfully applying for grants and funding, and knowledge of the cycle trail industry. If this sounds like you, apply today!
